Functions:
- Receive physical dental impression molds or computerized models from dental offices and prepare dentist instructions
- Prepare plaster models and molds from dental impressions
- Prepare wax bite-blocks and impression trays
- Mold wax over denture set-up to form full contour artificial gums
- Casting gold or metal alloys for bridges and denture bases
- Finish metal framework of dentures and polish dentures to achieve a natural finish
- Document processes and comply with industry regulations and safety standards
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience as a dental laboratory technician.
- Proficiency in dental laboratory computer-aided manufacturing (CAD/CAM) software.
- Experience in constructing, replacing, repairing, and restoring dental devices.
- Keeping informed of advancements in the field of dental laboratory technologies and techniques.
- Possesses strong attention to detail and precision.
- Is a team player and thrives in a collaborative work environment.
- Is dedicated to delivering high-quality dental products.
